Zoom Gets Telecom License: Jio-Airtel and VI are the three big telecom operators in India. Especially Jio has dominance in the telecom industry. But now Zoom has entered the field to give tough competition to all the three companies. Actually, web conference company Zoom Video Communications has got pan-India telecom license and now the company will provide telephone service to enterprise customers. This US-based company already provides video and voice call services to the people on the app and web. Now the company has also got license from Department of Telecommunication for telecom services which includes National Long Distance and International Long Distance calls.
With the help of this license, the company will provide its cloud based Private Branch Exchange (PBX) service ‘Zoom Phone’ to MNCs and businesses operating in India. At present, the company offers this service in 47 different countries, in which customers get phone numbers and different tariff plans. The company says that with the help of zoom phones, companies can work better with their employees and this will also enhance the customer experience. Let us tell you, Private Branch Exchange (PBX) works as a local telephone exchange helps companies manage conference calls.
